| Description | The Honda Civic is a family sized vehicle that benefits from a wealth of smart in-cabin technology and impressive engine performance. Inside the cabin the Civic boasts plenty of legroom in both the front and rear seats. Aside from this you won’t really have any problem with the headroom unless you’re well over average height. For the driver, the majority of the dashboard controls are easily reachable and appear to have been laid out intelligently. Space throughout the cabin is also generally good as the rear seats can fold flat. The trunk is also humongous and ideal for carrying a months load of groceries. With regards to the technology, the Civic comes with its fair share of mod-cons including climate control and a USB socket. Additional upgrades add cruise control, reversing cameras and automatic lights and windscreen wipers. On the road, the Honda Civic’s engine provides ample acceleration whilst its suspension and design provide great road grip and cornering. With regards to comfort, the ride can be a little unsettled at slow speeds, however once you open it up on the highway this tends to die down a little. Generally speaking the Honda Civic is a relatively good investment as the vehicle tends to hold onto its value pretty well and as a result has slightly better resale value than that of some of its competitors. Aside from this, economically speaking, the Civic does not cost too much to run and service parts are relatively affordable. All in all, the Civic is a smart vehicle that makes for an affordable family car for an inner-city family. |
